Pland Welcomes Daniel O’Connor

Daniel O’Connor is the latest addition to the Pland team, joining the company as a Warehouse Assistant within their Leeds manufacturing plant.  Daniel, aged 24, joined the business as part of the Leeds City Council Kick Start Scheme earlier this year as he was looking for a position to learn new skills and offer career progression.

The role at Pland involves order processing, stock control, the logistics of customer deliveries, plus the picking and packing of pallets and parcels.  It suits him well and it’s also conveniently located close to where he lives in Wortley, Leeds.

Daniel said, “I am enjoying this new role at Pland, it’s mentally engaging and fast-paced and has allowed me to gain many useful and practical new skills.” he had previously worked for the Royal Mail on an agency basis.

‘We are always looking for enthusiastic young people to join our team.” said MD and Owner Steve Duree. “We have a very experienced workforce here at Pland and they offer great skills training to future proof the business. So, the Leeds City Council Kick Start Scheme initiative suited us perfectly.  Daniel is now a valued member of the Pland team.”
