Notre Dame High School, Norwich

Pland Stainless were delighted to be chosen as the manufacturer of bespoke worktops when the School opted to modernise it’s Food Technology classroom.

Pland were chosen by Millar West Ltd, the installation Contractor to design special size worktops for the installation which suited the school’s chosen cabinet materials and colours. This design brief manifested itself in worktops that were entirely bespoke with integral drainers formed as part of the design. Pland’s Area Sales Manager Gary West, met on site with Millar West to discuss and measure the installation, taking the time to feed back to the design team the intricacies of the installation whilst at all times having in mind, the design brief issued and compiled by Millar West. The challenges were varied and included the provision of rounded worktops. These perfectly complemented the look and work well within the chosen environment.

Millar West’s Business Development Director, Martyn Wragg said he was extremely pleased with the installation and the end result is a Technology Suite the school can be justifiably proud of. It is the perfect installation to teach students culinary skills for the future.
