Steve, our leader, started with Pland in the early 80’s and having worked in many roles now co-owns the Company. He now directs the Company and is responsible for key accounts and export sales. Outside work he spends many happy hours touring on his motorbike.

Russell joined the team in July 2016 as Financial Controller after 8 years in similar roles at Leeds based Maney Publishing. Outside work Russell enjoys lots of outdoor activities like cycling, climbing and kayaking.

Dean joined us in 2006 as Development Engineer progressing into his current role overseeing the Technical & Purchasing side of the business. Outside work Dean likes cycling, walking and anything that keeps him busy. Dean has over 15 years experience in technical and purchasing roles at Pland and spends most of his time in new product development.

Callum joined our sales team in 2022 having previously worked in the hospitality sector. So he’s certainly seen lots of Pland products in situ.  So, if you have any questions on any product please give him a call. Outside work Callum is kept very busy with his three young children.

Alex started working with Pland as an apprentice in 2017 after leaving the Morley Academy school.  His role is now in Sales, where he processes orders and deals with incoming calls, providing prices and lead times for standard and non standard products. His hobbies outside work are watching football and rugby.

Szymon joined Pland in January 2024 and his role involves creating sales quotations, sending out drawings, keying orders and generally talking with customers. He came to us with qualifications in product & design, engineering, fabrication and welding, all very useful to him in his role at Pland Stainless. Szymon lives just walking distance from the Pland factory in Leeds where he is based.

Robin started with Pland in 1993 and served his time in our sheet metal work department. He progressed as Team Leader in that department and found his niche as a Design Engineer offering technical advice and drawing bespoke products in our Technical Department.

Karla has been with Pland since 2008, hired originally as a receptionist she now assists in the Finance team. Outside work she enjoys spending time with her family at home with her husband and son and to do a spot of baking in her spare time.

Nathan joined Pland on an apprenticeship scheme in 2019 and completed a level 2&3 engineering qualification. He has continued with his studies and is now doing an HNC in engineering. His role is a Technical Engineer which means do lots of programming, both creating and flattening of 3d models and customer drawings and working with the production team. Nathans hobbies outside work include gaming with friends on PC’s & consoles, travelling, dog walking and occasionally snowboarding.

Ellie is the SHEQ Manager at Pland, so has responsibilities for Safety, Health, Environment and Quality within the business. It’s a key role where she carries out inspections, audits and the updating of policies and procedures for our manufacturing business. Outside work Ellie enjoys sports, she both plays and watches football and likes to spend time with her family.

Craig joined Pland in May 2023 after almost 40 years of experience in similar businesses. His key focus is working with customers on their design requirements and with our production team on process improvements, as part of a continuous improvement program. He leads the team that creates 2D and 3D designs/drawings to suit customer requirements and that research & develop new and existing products, owning the process from concept to manufacture. Outside work he enjoy travel, keeping fit (including walking & boxing) and listening to music. He also play the drums!
